About the artist

BIO

I was born in Durango, Colorado and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  I got my BFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder and MFA from Syracuse University.  From an early age travel was in my DNA so between degrees and after finishing graduate school I travelled a lot, including a 5 year stretch of roving with a backpack, mostly around Asia. 

Finally settling down in NYC, I exhibited in shows at the Bronx Museum, The Rotunda Gallery, Momenta Arts, Kenkeleba Gallery,  Pierogi Gallery and the Islip Art Museum.

Recently I’ve returned from a hiatus of creative real estate development embarked upon to support my family.  With what the late night infomercials call financial freedom, I now have the experience, time, resources and focus to do the work I am meant to do.  I live In Crown Heights Brooklyn and have my studio in Bushwick.
